Industrial-Grade Sodium Bicarbonate
Uses of industrial-grade and food-grade sodium bicarbonate:
- 1.It can be directly used as a raw material in the pharmaceutical industry, widely applied for treating hyperacidity, and serves as a raw material for antacids. It also has numerous other pharmaceutical applications such as analytical reagents, inorganic synthesis, and treatment of acidemia, boasting an extremely wide range of uses.
- 2.Applied in film production, tanning, mineral processing, smelting, metal heat treatment, as well as fiber and rubber industries.

- 15.As a harmless weak alkaline agent, a small amount added while washing vegetables helps retain stable green color.
- 16.It is widely used in animal husbandry. Adding an appropriate amount of sodium bicarbonate to the feed of laying hens improves egg production rate and eggshell strength.
